My name is Patricia Ferguson.  I am a qualified Medical Herbalist and a Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. I graduated from the University of Westminster 1n 2004 with an Upper Second Class (2:1) Honours Degree in Herbal Medicine after four years of study.  

Herbalists are trained in the same diagnostic skills as doctors and study subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and botany.  We undergo 500 hours of clinical training and are required to pass a final clinical examination, under the scrutiny of three examiners, including a GP, before we are able to practice.  I have a special interest in Liver & Colon health and in practice emphasise the importance of cleansing the waste-eliminating organs as the basis for health recovery as well as enzyme-rich living foods. I am the sole owner of South London-based GreenLeaves Herbal Healthcare.
